Time to Reboot my P90X

I had a “minor” injury on Saturday where I may have strained my quad.  I am pretty sure it’s going to be fine as long as I baby it through the rest of the softball season, and then rehab it pretty strong.  I missed my Legs and Back workout due to this injury.  I have missed quite a few workouts from my program, but I have been working out every day one way or the other.  I am going to restart my P90X program from day 1, but I am going to be more diligent about getting in my specific workouts.

Today I am going to take day 1 pics when I get home, and even though I really don’t want to I think I am going to post them to my blog.  I will then start tracking my progress better throughout my workouts so that I can take full advantage of my time.  My diet is coming along nicely, and I am not really going to make any changes there.  I really just want to get my workouts dialed in a little better.  My new starting weight is going to be 271, which is what I was at this morning when I got on the scale.  It’s a minor accomplishment, in that I haven’t started a program this low in years.  The highest weight I remember seeing this year was 292, so technically I’m already down 21 lbs (Yeah Me!).

I’ve had P90X for nearly 3 years, so it’s about time I finally “Decide, Commit, Succeed”.  I am going to press play every day for the next 90 days barring any major injuries or illnesses.  You are more than welcome to keep up with my progress, and chime in from time to time if you’d like.
