Hitting the weights a bit harder, and feeling it.

I am a bit sore again, but I’m still feeling better and better by the day.  I have started doing my P90X workouts at the gym instead of at home, and I’m able to lift heavier with the weights available.  I think this is really going to help me to keep moving forward.  I’m also throwing in some quick cardio intervals before each workout to add that extra calorie burn.  Tomorrow is day 12, and that means Legs and Back.

No more Saturday softball, so this weekend I will be playing volleyball Saturday morning, tennis Sunday morning, and Softball Sunday night.  My workouts are helping me to pick up those steps that I’ve lost over the last few years.  I can’t wait to see how much faster and stronger I’ll be after I lose 30, 40, or even 50+ lbs.

My main goal right now is to get into a schedule that will allow me to workout every day, get my homework done, and spend time with my family.  Things are going to be busy, but fun over the next few months.  I find that with the added energy I have, it’s easier to fit things into my schedule.  Now it’s time to get off the computer and get dinner ready.
